Obedience Training

Your dog is a creature growing up in your house with his own language. You are speaking English, he understands Doglish. We would like to be your dog’s language teacher!  Once English is taught to your best friend, they will become your best behaved family member, and you will begin to enjoy the rewards of the human canine bond.

With over thirty years in the dog training business we have been through the Wolf Psychology System, the all Positive system, the all Ouch system, and about every other fad training system you can think of. We know the “system” that works is just plain ol’ communication, K9 Kommunication.

Custom Training and Board, how it works:

When you bring your dog to Cappel Canine we will ask you to fill out a lifestyle profile, listing what your dog already knows, any behavior issues they have, pulling on leashes, chewing, jumping etc. and what goals you have for your dog? Protect the family, or just be a well behaved companion. This information is used to create your dogs individual training program.

We teach your dog all the basic obedience commands needed for an obedience title including; come, stay, and walking calmly on leash.  We also teach them to respond to the “silent” whistle for greater off leash control in all situations.

Of course all the dog training in the world does isn’t effective if you don’t know how your dog was taught. When you pick up your dog we will take you through your own personal “Handlers Course” to teach you how your dog learned everything.

We also video your dog’s training sessions. You will be given a DVD of your dog’s training for reference, which includes your own personalized training program, so you can keep your dogs training efficient for life.

Basic Obedience Private lessons with one on one training $345 for a 4 -5 week course.
Our very popular customized Board & Train is only $895 for 2 weeks that includes your dog’s training DVD, silent whistle, and all training equipment.
